My Personal Journey🌙
From Small-Town Beginnings to Dance Visionary
I was not exceptional, nor was I destined for dance. I grew up in the south of France, in a town that felt like the middle of nowhere, surrounded by agricultural fields with civilization 30 kilometers away. I attended my first dance class at 17 with zero background in dance. It was a belly dance class, and I was mesmerized by the moves and rhythm. Long story short, I began to understand that I was good at it and trained with some of the best belly dancers of this century, spending hours and hours in workshops at prestigious festivals.
Finding My Unique Path
But after years, I started to feel disconnected from the style and even the music. I needed something different, yet I still resonated with those moves. I then jumped into Indian dance, particularly Bollywood and Kathak, after randomly watching a Bollywood movie. It felt like the missing piece in the puzzle. New trainings began, and in 2013, after dropping my scientific studies, I opened my first enterprise. I naturally began blending Bollywood and belly dance.
Navigating Challenges and Misunderstandings
A year later, I had the opportunity to teach at a belly dance school, but it was her school, her rules, her vision—completely valid, but I felt disconnected again. Meanwhile, I discovered South Indian dance styles, which became my expertise, and I also trained in tutting, hip-hop, and fusion. I had finally acquired all the skills I needed to develop my unique style, but I was totally misunderstood, judged, and seen as "weird." After too many divergences with my mentor, I quit the school in 2018 and went out on my own.
Embracing Freedom and Facing Rejection
I felt free. I felt like myself. I started developing dance clips to showcase who I really was. The audience was clapping and eager to see me perform at events, but other dancers judged me even more. I felt unvalidated and unjustly treated. Despite my strong skills, I didn't have the success or the number of students I wanted. Then came burnout, self-criticism, and an increasing sense of loneliness. My students were supportive, and I ran successful shows, but then COVID hit—hard. Everything stopped. I was planning my biggest creative show, "Time Travel," to showcase all my knowledge. My students were ready and excited, but everything came to a halt. Out of an entire school, only three students attended Zoom classes. I was defeated.
A Turning Point: Rebuilding and Redefining
When I reopened, it wasn’t the same as before. Feeling rejected, I was excluded from all shows by event organizers and dance competitors. I was down, and my personal life was a mess too. I was at the edge, thinking, "Either I give up, or out of despair, I find a solution." I started working on myself, focusing on my mental health—therapy, life coaching, law of attraction—you name it. The more aware I became of my problems, the worse it seemed to get. Then, an opportunity came to go to the USA, and I took the risk. I closed my school, shut down my enterprise, and left.
Transforming Through Mindset Work
In the USA, I found the right people—teachers of the law of assumption and quantum principles. They introduced me to a completely different way of approaching mindset, how it creates reality, and how you can literally change your life from A to Z, no matter how bad it currently is. A new journey began, the most powerful one.
I went from being hyper-anxious, suffering from insomnia and panic attacks, to feeling harmonious, aligned, empowered, and sleeping well. It was still me, but a new version—fearless.
Becoming the Mentor I Needed
I opened a new business to coach dancers who face the same struggles I did. I teach them everything I know, helping them overcome obstacles and own their dance identity without suffering alone for years. What took me years of pain and searching, I now provide in weeks. The transformation begins the moment you start doing this work. Now, I am achieving all my dreams one by one with unshakeable determination and confidence, bending reality to my will.
